How does the photo quote work?

Open zenrjunk.com on your phone (or the ZENR app saved to your home screen), snap a few photos of whatever you want gone, and add your pickup address. Our team reviews the photos and texts you an upfront price — usually within minutes during business hours. No stranger walking through your house, no waiting around for an on-site estimate.

How much does junk removal cost?

Pricing is based on how much space your items take up in our truck, from a single-item minimum up to a full truckload. Because we quote from your photos, the price you approve is the price you pay — if your items take up less room than expected, we charge you less, never more. Single items like a mattress, couch or appliance have flat rates.

What areas do you serve?

We serve all of Long Island and most of New York City: Nassau County, Suffolk County, Brooklyn, Queens and Manhattan. If you're right on the edge of our coverage map, call us — we'll usually make it work.

Do you offer same-day junk removal?

Yes. Same-day and next-day slots are available across Nassau, Suffolk, Brooklyn, Queens and Manhattan, but they fill up fast — send your photos early in the day for the best shot at a same-day pickup.

What items do you take?

Almost anything non-hazardous that two strong crew members can lift: furniture, mattresses, appliances, TVs and e-waste, exercise equipment, hot tubs, pianos, renovation debris, yard waste and full cleanouts of homes, garages, basements, attics, offices and estates. What can't you take?

We can't take hazardous materials: paint, solvents, chemicals, oil tanks and drums, gasoline, asbestos, full propane tanks, medical waste, ammunition or explosives. If you're not sure about an item, text us a photo and we'll let you know.

Do I need to move anything before you arrive?

No — that's the whole point. Our crew picks items up from wherever they are: the attic, the basement, the third-floor walk-up, the backyard. We do all the lifting, loading and carrying, and we sweep up afterward.

What happens to my junk after you take it?

Donation first, recycling second, landfill last. Usable items go to local Long Island and NYC charities — and we send you the donation receipt for your taxes. Everything else gets sorted for recycling. We divert more than 60% of what we haul away from landfills.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. ZENR is fully licensed and insured, and every crew member is background-checked. Working in a Manhattan or Brooklyn building that requires a Certificate of Insurance (COI)? We handle that paperwork routinely — just let us know when you book.

How do I track my pickup?

Every job gets an ID like ZNR-XXXXX. Enter it on our Track My Job page — or save ZENR to your phone's home screen — to follow your job live, from "photos received" through "quote ready" to "junk gone."

Do you do commercial and office junk removal?

Yes. We work with offices, retail stores, property managers, contractors and real estate agents across Long Island and NYC, including after-hours and weekend pickups, and recurring service for ongoing cleanouts.

Is there anything to pay before pickup?

No. Quotes are free with no obligation, and you don't pay anything until the job is done and you're happy. No deposits, no credit card required to get a quote.
